
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegan butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 1/2 cups mushroom broth (or vegetable broth)
- 1 1/2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1/2 tablespoon corn starch
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried herbs
- 1 teaspoon dehydrated chives
- 1/4 cup soy cream (Belsoy)
Preparation
- In a large mesuring cup, whisk together broth, soy sauce, maple syrup, corn starch and spices. Set aside.
- In a small pot, melt the butter.
- Add the flour and whisk with the butter.
- Gradually add the liquid mixture taking care to whip regularly.
- Bring to a boil and simmer 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add soy cream and stir.
