Ginger orange smoothie

I have a cold right now and i needed a dose of vitamins to help me feel better. When I’m sick, i always eat ginger and citrus fruits for their interesting properties.
Oranges are filled with vitamin C, which stimulates the immune system and helps and lemon has antiseptic powers to fight infections. Ginger is rich in antioxidants, has anti-inflammatory properties and is known to relieve nausea.
This delicious blend is perfect to help you get back on your feet!


  • 1 ripe banana
  • Juice and zest of an orange
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • 1/2 cup of cut pineapple
  • 1 chopped carrot
  • A dice of fresh ginger
  • 1 pinch of curcuma
  • 1 cup of cashew milk (any plant-based milk or simply water)


  1. In a blender, put all the ingredients and blend until smooth.
    (If your mixer is not very powerful, it is best to finely chop or grate the carrot. If there are still small pieces of carrots in your mix, filter the smoothie through a sieve or a colander.)
